Other: This response uses two articles: 1931-12-17 report of a run and state superintendent taking charge; 1932-03-15 report of reopening under a plan with staged withdrawals.

Description

Dec 17, 1931 article reports a run on the Bank of Batesville and that state Superintendent Love 'took charge' and closed the bank (government intervention). A March 1932 item reports the bank reopened under a plan allowing graduated withdrawals. OCR errors in articles (e.g., 'Bank Hope' vs 'Bank of Pope' and garbled March article) corrected where obvious. Suspension appears due to state takeover following the run; reopening occurred by March 1932.
