FARMERS BANK AT WILCOX CLOSES DOORS YESTERDAY The Farmers State Bank at Wilcox failed to open for business yesterday and notice on the door informed public that had been closed by board of directors. The stated that the closing was for the of liquidating and discontinbusiness, and not matter of failure of the institution. Shell president of the bank and Clifford Lynch was eashier. According the official statement published in The Post two weeks ago the bank had total assets of $26,079.65. Deposits amounted to and loans were $13,674.00. The bank capitalized $10,000 and surplus fund of $3,000.
