Business Failures. BOSTON, March 28.-William G. Webber & Co., dry goods dealers of Salem. have assigned, with liabilities of $100,000. The nominal assets are $135,000. The liabilities of Daniel W. Crosby, of Boston, foot up $277,000, of which $138,000 is nominally secured by 488 shares of the rubber company's stock. MOBILE, Ala., March 28.-Thomas P. Miller & Co., private bankers, have failed. Liabilities $150,000, and assets $50,000.

Business Embarrassments. BOSTON, March 28.-Williara G. Webber & Co., dry goods dealers at Salera, have assigned, with liabilities of $100,000. The nominal assets are $135,000. The liabilities of Daniel W. Crosby, of Boston, foot up $277,000, of which $13,000 is nominally secured by 488 shares of the rubber company's stock. The actual value of the assets cannot yet be determined. MOBILE. Ala., March 28.-Thomas P. Miller & Co., private bankers, who have been in trouble for some months, failed to-dai. It is thought that the liabilities are about $150,000, and the assets $50,000.
