BANK OF PORTAGEVILLE CLOSED TUESDAY NIGHT The Bank of Portageville closed its doors Tuesday evening following run on the bank that caused the withdrawal of $18,000 in little over ten days. Their report of December 31st which was published last week showed deposits of $112.000. County funds amounted to $25,000. which were partly secured by Government bonds. Officers of the bank were: Alphonse DeLisle, President; A. W Fields, Cashier. Directors: P. DeLisle, T. C. Pinkley, M Brandy Leo Killian and J. H. King.
