Egger vs. Egger. Thefollowing extract is taken from an article in last week's Henry coun ty Democrat: "Banker John B. Egger in suing Receiver John B Egger in the case of the Firet National Bank of Appleton City VN. John B. Egger, receiver. Plaintiff recites that Nov 13, it loaned W. W. Adamson $5,000 on his note, on which payment was guar anteed by Salmon & Salmon. On maturity the note was sent to the Salmon bank for collection. The Salmon bank was repeatedly urged to collect same and kept making excuses. Plaintiff now charges that the Adamson note was a mere accommodation note and that the money secured by Adamson was by him paid to Salmon & Salmon and went to swell the apparent assets; and that instead of endeavoring to collect the note for plaintiff, SAlmon & Salmon cancelled and surrendered it to Mr. Adamson. Wherefore, it is asked that the $5,000 be made a preferred claim.
